    Description:

    Astound Advise for Jira Service Desk empowers service desk agents as they solve problems by leveraging NLP and NLU to surface related content and past requests. It does so by "listening" to different fields within the JSD issue and then presents the contextually-relevant content so that service desk agents can apply company protocol, best practice solutions, or reference past resolved issues.

    Preparatory Work:

    Astound Advise requires preparatory work and configuration by the Astound team with your organization before being deployed, including using historical data to build a specialized model to allow Astound Advise to make relevant recommendations for new issues.

    As one of the final steps for deployment, the Jira Service Desk administrator installs the Astound Advise app into the Jira Service Desk instance.

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Astound Advise for Jira Service Desk via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Jira instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your app.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
