Have been working with Custom Charts for a good few years & several different companies now. I have seen the app go from strength to strength & ACTUALLY SOLVE a major issue within native functionality. While Jira is strong at searching data with all the custom fields etc. presenting that information back in a useful manner is a different matter. It is also not easy to get that information out of Jira in a useable format for execs etc. Custom charts helps solve these exact issues. We have always introduced the apps with a few teams first and it spreads soo quickly without any further intervention as more and more teams want to solve the same issue. With a simple UI it also means the teams can pretty much train themselves which saves me as the admin getting bogged down and running specific training sessions on it. I do think certain chart types are missing though. It would be nice to see more software specific chart types like burndowns etc. While I know other apps do these it does mean we have to double up on reporting apps. I would also like to see a map chart type, so we could understand the breakdown of data on a world map. I'd also like to see heat maps so we could understand how often terms are also popping up.

I didn't expect to really like this app that has enabled some functionality that other apps don't. But it's quite a powerful app and I have begun to learn the optimal ways to set it up, it did take some time to work it out. The support team has gone well and beyond to assist me in very short order. They are super, that's what I can say. Thiago - big thank you.

Excellent support. Found a bug, fixed it overnight after a quick screenshare and troubleshooting found the problem. Very useable and easy to set up!

While the app has room for improvement, it still surpasses the native alternatives. The client support and developers have always been responsive and helpful. It makes me confident that the app will incorporate feedback and suggestions in future versions.
