This is by far my prefered app lately. This provides support for a very important part, filling the gap between users groups and roles. This is especially important when using groups for securities of boards for instance. As I already had some groups already (project-KEY-admins for each project), users were often lost as they wouldn't be able to see content of the groups. The killer point being to allow members of a group to self managed their group (delegating a group to itself). So now any project admin can manage the members of the groups he is also a member.

The app is must have 100%. Team Managers are the ones who get known faster than a Jira Admin about team changes. So the app provides an excellent capability to delegate group management to either specific users (like Team Leads) or to a group of users to manage (remove or add) users within a group. As for me, the best practice is to manage Project Roles based on groups not users. So, the 'Delegating Group Management' plugin is a fantastic opportunity to provide better experience to project admins. I would highly recommend to install the app without any doubts.
