    We’re completely satisfied with the ActivityTimeline app, it fills all our needs. Easy planning interface, the ability to get a complete visualization of teams’ availability is a great addition. Clearly shows potential bottlenecks, just what we need. Like your individual and teams’ views, helps to get into details. I wish the reports could be a bit more flexible but the support team seems to always know the way to tweak them to cover my needs. Good job guys, thanks

    This is a really cool tool with lots of very useful and good features. We are using Activity Timeline to organize our technical staff around the world, incl. freelancer who also were using AT to generate an overview for their invoicing. I also need to say, that the support is really great! We had some issues with the payment method and the support team was always quick in responding and absolutely willing to find the best solution. A big thank you! Unfortunately we had to cancel our subscription as we bought a project planning tool with a lot of different functions (incl. Gantt Chart view, etc.), which also has a resource planning tool onboard. As we don't need two, we decided to use the one which comes with the other product anyway.

    A good product with an outstanding support team We are a mid-sized software company running a 250 users Jira instance. We handle multiple simultaneous software projects for mid and big sized clients as well as our continuous product development using Jira on premise with a few add-ons (mainly for site-to-site integration with our customers). In phase 1 we moved from an old ticketing and workflow system to Jira enabling all workflows, adopting data capturing and flows to our needs and training all employees. Now in phase 2 we wanted to combine the already good coverage of planned software work to be done and executed with a company wide resource planning both on team and individual level. We were testing both Tempo Planner and Activity Timeline intensively and at the end we went for Activity Timeline, as it is covering our core requirements out of the box: Planning on team level without yet individually assigning a ticket Freedom to have individual daily working hours per employee Possibility to set up indicator for team overbookings or underbookings individually Variety of reports as an automatically generated input into our project controlling But what is really amazing is the quality and response times of the support and their internal product development. Some small not yet solved handicaps (but where the solution is already on roadmap): Team and User timelines handling with many items on team level (should be solved on cloud already) Inclusion of team efforts planned on the team-timeline into the reports Bulk-movement of issues from the left search panel to the main team timeline not yet possible Reflection of team assignments on a single jira ticket (e.g. with a custom field like Tempo Planner handles this) But overall we are happy, as the decision is not only for the tool as it is at the moment but that we also believe in the product strategy.     I like resource reports and timesheets in ActivityTimeline. There are many reports available but I use the workload and worklog report the most. It is possible to tweak them for a specific project or team and then bookmark for quick access - very handy. Thanks for that!

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

    Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

    Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
