    This is a really cool tool with lots of very useful and good features. We are using Activity Timeline to organize our technical staff around the world, incl. freelancer who also were using AT to generate an overview for their invoicing. I also need to say, that the support is really great! We had some issues with the payment method and the support team was always quick in responding and absolutely willing to find the best solution. A big thank you! Unfortunately we had to cancel our subscription as we bought a project planning tool with a lot of different functions (incl. Gantt Chart view, etc.), which also has a resource planning tool onboard. As we don't need two, we decided to use the one which comes with the other product anyway.

    From the very beginning I was shocked with their configuration.. now I admit that it allows to make any adjustments we need. Although I am a little bit conservative person and hate innovations, their new improvements always ease my life and what's more interesting, only their support team can endure me and my million questions, even if I am unbearable. Thanks for your work, keep the pace !

    Yes, ActivityTimeline can be used for shared resources across multiple projects: this can be achieved by scheduling tasks from multiple projects into the timeline of a shared resource(s) through drag'n'drop.

    I really like Activity Timeline, specially the auto-schedule functionality! But there is a simple option that is making it difficult to use on a real environment: we don't have the possibility do disable Jira notification for the updates done by Activity Timeline. Can you imagine how many emails my team receives during an auto-schedule operation for a project? We can't simply disable Jira notification, as we can miss some important emails. There is not a time with no user using Jira, as we have employees all around the world. With all my other plugins, I have the option to disable notification for their application. It seems to be just an option to set that on Jira REST API (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-34423). I'm sure this problem will pop up sooner with all clients, as they start do use Activity Timeline for bigger projects. Please, we need a solution for that! Thanks.

    How does cloud app pricing work?

    Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

    When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

    If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

    How do I determine my cloud pricing?

    Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Desk (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Desk, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

    The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

    Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

    Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

    Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

    Can I extend my free trial?

    For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Activity Timeline for Jira Cloud.
    4. Click Free trial to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
