See events created by others
Stay in the loop by overseeing issue-related events scheduled by other users after subscribing to their calendars. Add events to calendars of other users (write permissions are required).
Google Calendar Integration for Jira app does precisely this - it provides two-way integration between Jira and Google Calendar. So if you make any edits to events in your calendar they will be automatically synced to Jira and vice versa.
It allows creating calendar events from issue details, passing the issue key and summary to the event name and issue link directly to the app description.
The integration with the Google account is straightforward and takes just a few steps. All the calendars with write permissions for the Google account will be available for creating events.
During event creation, you can select one of the available calendars and timezone, enable all-day mode, and edit the event name or description. (The ability to invite participants is coming soon, to speed the process up, let our PM know that you’re waiting for the feature: email@example.com).
All users subscribed to the selected calendar can see created events from issue details.
