    Automatically track time when the issue is transitioned between statues or assignees.

    Once moved to In Progress it will start counting the time. Moving the issue to Done or To Do status category will stop the timer.

    A visual overview of time spent vs estimated gives you an easy way to tell how far is the end. Plus you can see how much time each contributor worked on the issue.

    It works with Next-Gen projects too!

    Every project gets its own report so you can see how much time spent was reported in total or by each member of the team separately.

    You can also group the data in various ways and export to Excel.

    Clockwork Automated Timesheets offers automatic time tracking mode integrated with Jira workflow transitions. Time spent is calculated for every issue moved to and out of the "In progress" category.

    Tracked time is stored in Jira work log so you can still log work manually and use Jira reporting tools.

    It is a free version of Clockwork Pro. It comes with some limitations.

    Clean and proper approach to record time. Better than alternative with custom layouts and too bloated interface. Free version is great for small teams like us. When we go big and pay for it, we will need in place more option to export data like PDF, Custom Fields with are now available and more configuration like "auto end all timer after end of working day", "show clockwork always" and option to automate by time, transition or webhook ("every friday generate clockwork PDF and send to email"). After all great one!

    The widget doesn't show for all people and we have had constant issues of people not being able to use the timer function.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Clockwork Automated Timesheets Free.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
