    Email is great. However the information in emails is often outdated, and going through your emails to triage the important things requires a fair amount of back and forth between your inbox and each app. This add-in solves this problem for Jira by letting you manage your backlog from Outlook.

    At a glance:

    • View rich, up to date information about a Jira issue

    Great app & integration. Works seamlessly. Could not do without. Easy to add any info, attachments or additional comments to existing or newly created issues. Free! Have been using it for over a year without any issues...

    Hi, I believe there have been recent developments pushed through for the add-in which has corrupt the MULTIPLE SELECT FROM LIST feature for a custom field in one of my projects. The field is working as designed on the Request form from the portal and dashboard but not from within the outlook add in. The outlook add in was one of the reasons why my organization migrated to JIRA since it provides ease of access and raising requests directly from mails. If you are making changes why would you not let your customers know?

    Hi there, Having trouble when installing and got error as "REST API is not yet supported for this mailbox". Is anything i missed here.

    Requires internet explorer to be enabled, a browser with know security flaws hence it is disabled on my work station. So I have a choice, enable to use this plug in and expose my self to exploits, or write this review in the hopes Atlassian catch a wake up and remove a dependency on outdated insecure software.

    Hi Robin,

    Unfortunately, we do not have control over this on desktop Outlook client (PC), Outlook uses IE11 as their default renderer for all add-ins.

    Nonetheless, new Outlook client versions use Microsoft Edge as a renderer. For this:

    • you need to be an Office365 user
    • Windows 10 version should be at least 1903
    • Office 365 version should be at least 16.0.11629

    If you want to use a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, etc., you can switch to the web version of Outlook.

    This is a very good start for an add-in which could be great. Currently I have the following issues: * If you attach an email to your issue, which was signed and encrypted by the sender (*.p7m), the text itself arrives correctly in JIRA, but all images show up "broken" (missing image icon). * Currently I see no way, to use an attached to JIRA ticket mail, to "reply" to this mail via outlook.
