This a great product! We used to have a fragmented strategy for handling our business processes in Jira since departments would have to constantly recreate the Issue Type structures every time versus being able to create a template that had every business step and check in a repeatable, standard way for each process with documentation on how to do it. We created a new marketing campaign templates that had over 40 linked issues to accomplish the complete business process and was easily done! The main strength is creating Issue Type hierarchies in our case Epic (new campaign) then related task Issue Types for graphic design, content, SEO, publishing, and related detailed subtasks that included many different team members being assigned and you can centrally update the template to change assignments to all the issues. One-click and all the over 40 related Jira issues are created and assigned the entire project team to complete all the tasks. Vastly improved our speed and quality and lowered the budget to run new marketing campaigns. Amazing! Other products we tried could only go two structure levels and not three, which limits how you can handle granular tasks, rollup, and reporting. Support has been very good as well. Big thank you for this addon!

Very good plugin, User-friendly UI, and the UI integrated into the Jira native menus, so easy to save and create templates. Creating many issues with similar data is easy and saves our team a ton of time. The most powerful feature is creating the issue structures and then being able to create many related issues. We used to have to manually create subtasks for our product software deployment test checks, now we just apply the hierarchy template and the epic, stories, tasks, and subtasks are all created and assigned with standard and custom fields set as desired. We have definitely improved our software quality since now there is a repeatable standard on the test steps before the software is deployed to production, without requiring manually rebuilding the same issues for every software deployment. Must have addon!

I tried several solutions for a Jira template solution and Smart Issue Templates for Jira was the easiest to get started and straight forward in how to build out issue type hierarchies for three levels such as Epic -> Issue Type (ex. story) -> subtask with a. intuitive user interface. I have tried other template solutions not only was it very complicated to build the structures, but they could only go two levels not three, which we need to handle business processes with many steps. Also, custom fields from our addons were supported in creating the templates. This is a must-have add-on for any organization that needs to have repeatable ways to handle multi-issue related steps. I look forward to the new planned features coming out. I highly recommend watching the product video to help you going.

Smart Issues templates for Jira, much needed plugin for Jira. It save us a lot of time for the recurring type of issues. It's very easy to use and we can have standardized template for each project.
