The Macro Security Manager provides the ability to deactivate macros within your Confluence instance, making it easier for the users to find the macros they regularly use. Define whether deactivated macros are available to none, to all or to specific users or groups.
â € Main Features:
- Existing macros are still visible on the pages after deactivation
- Deactivated macros won't be available within the macro browser
- Deactivated macros won't be usable in the confluence editor via shortcut
- Restrict the macro availability for each macro by users (Whitelist)
- Restrict the macro availability for each macro by groups (Whitelist)
- Enhance your Security and Compliance by restricting macros that contain functions that require security
- All changes in the macro security manager configuration will be logged in the Confluence Audit Log to ensure traceability
