iFinder Search for Confluence

We switched from the build in search to the iFinder5 Confluence search. Integration was quite simple and worked well. The feedback from our users is that the results for our german pages are much better now.

We were on a very old version of this plugin until we realised that a lot of things have changed positively. The new UI adds a great value to the user and the search is really helpful for our users. Its pretty fast and we did not faced any issue until now, thanks for the product!

The more content we put into the Confluence, the greater the need for high quality and usable search results. iFinder enhances the collaborative function of Confluence exponentially by allowing users to find the content they want fast. Our users love the results. The search engine install is not a trivial one, but IntraFind is there to help you along the way. IntraFind is “hands-down” the “search experts” and has effectively integrated that capability into Confluence. We are looking forward to indexing other content like Jira and documents on file servers.

Finally the enterprise search Confluence needed for years. Our users are more than happy to get a fast, correct & comfortable search solution. Didn't anyone notice that Excel XLSX files are not indexed anymore with the recent Confluence versions. With iFInder this is a thing of the past. Factettes, filtering, saved & shared searches (not search results!), highlighting of search terms in the generated preview content. Even a fallback to standard Confluence search in case of maintenance of the IntraFind server. With this search solution in place, next step for us is to look into integrating Jira & fileserver indexing to boost productivity! Highly recommended! I'd also like to point out the more than excellent support from the vendor side. They support you with setting up the search server even if it takes some time.

The iFinder app supports our users in their daily work with improved search results and thus helps to increase efficiency and effectiveness. For example, searching for attachments is a breeze thanks to the iFinder app. Many Confluence users know what I am talking about when I am searching for a logo. A logo does not contain any text information - only the file name is an attribute and this is where the iFinder app works perfectly.
