    With Halp, it’s easy to capture, assign, track, manage, and report on requests in Slack or Microsoft Teams.

    Making a Jira ticket is as easy as reacting to a message with an emoji in Slack or navigating to the ellipses button in the messaging composer in Microsoft Teams. From there the requester can select the appropriate team, fill out a custom form, and submit their request without ever having to leave Slack or Microsoft Teams.

    Tickets are then received by the support team where they’re assigned to an available agent who can reply directly on the card. The entire conversation from your chat system is synced to your Jira instance. Issues can be opened in channels and direct messages, and then triaged from a private channel by your team.

    Its not that mature for MS Teams , its a good concept but not yet value for money. The MS Teams documentation is not that good, even the MS Teams documentation says "Slack" in many places so seems its a copy paste of the Slack documentation. triage channel in teams cannot be private or the documentation is not clear, it charges licences on the entire team , for example if you have an IT or HR channel and have a triage channel called tickets in these teams for the team handling tickets it will charge the licence on the entire team HR or IT members and not on the channel members. It was not clear how to create multiple queues like HR tickets and IT Support queue, also how to sync it with different ticket / issue types in Jira Service desk documentation is not easy to find. For example if We want to have a laptop request or software request as two different issues its not clear in the documentation how to set it up. sending all halp requests to one queue and one general issue type is easy to setup and useful but documentation for ms teams , jira service desk and expanded scenarios is not good. considering all this its not worth the money and changing your MS teams structure due the gaps is not worth it. hopefully in the future it will be a good tool. Its a good start and whatever part works , works well but it should be a beta product currently. I love atlassian products generally so was excited to try it out. Probably will circle back to this product in the future its a good attempt / start. Let me also clarify that may be good documentation and videos all that exists. If so its just that its not that easy to find. I went thru the links that were emailed for MS Teams they were not detailed. Had to intuitively figure things out my self.

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Halp - Slack and Microsoft Teams Jira Integration.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
