    Epics Map gives an overview of the Epics' current progress and complexity. It shows a nice progress bar visualizing the number of finished stories and a total number of stories in the Epic. Visualization modes include graph view and treemap view.

    Epics Map allows cloning an Epic along with its stories, sub-tasks, and checklists (Jira cannot deep-clone epics and stories natively). However, clone epic functionality is deprecated and we recommend using Clone Epic for Jira app.

    This plugin works with Next-Gen projects too.

    Next on the roadmap:

    • show Epics Map globally (across projects)
    • show the progress and complexity of a Project
    • show an estimated finish/end time of an Epic and a Project

    Your app should be shown an issue related from others board ex. "is block by" from epic of other board in your graph. It's better help to tracking.

    I just downloaded it and tried to use it with my project Structure and it is not really fast. We have 88 Epics and it is pretty slow to show the graphs. I'm open to discuss about how do you recommand to use this tool. Thank you!

    Such a phenomenal tool, loved using. Thanks for this. If we can have a URL generated for *stories without epics view*, it will be helpful. At the moment, only the stories with epics view has a unique URL.

    Details

    This release adds the ability to view the epics as a treemap chart.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Epics Map for Jira.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
