As a smaller team, we don’t have the bandwidth for heavy administrative overhead, and Oboard has been a perfect fit. It’s lean and intuitive, allowing us to keep our goal-tracking agile without needing a complex setup to manage. It bridges the gap between our day-to-day Jira tasks and our high-level objectives effortlessly, giving us clear visibility on progress without the extra manual reporting. It’s an ideal solution for teams that want to stay focused on shipping results rather than managing a platform.

We've tried a few different OKR tools in Jira, and honestly the automated progress tracking alone was already worth it. But the thing that really changed how we run reviews is being able to connect AI through the Oboard web app to summarize everything that's been syncing in from Jira. Before, someone had to pull together a status update before every sprint planning session. Now we connect Claude and it just reads the latest KR and KPI data and gives us a quick rundown - where things are on track, where something's getting stuck. Check-ins are way faster and we're actually catching problems before they mess up the whole quarter, not scrambling to explain them after.

Getting an engineering team to stop just checking off tasks and start focusing on actual business outcomes was a pretty big cultural shift for us. Oboard helped here with a lot more than just the software setup. Their team actually worked with us to figure out how to structure our goals properly, which made onboarding a lot smoother for both management and the developers. It’s a great tool, but having their team's guidance to help us get the methodology right is what really made the rollout successful.

Before Oboard, keeping our OKRs updated took up way too much time. Every quarter felt like a cycle of checking different spreadsheets, updating presentation slides, and constantly messaging people on Slack to see where things stood. Now, we can just link our key results directly to our Jira epics and stories. As the teams advance their tickets, the progress updates on its own. It saves our team a lot of tedious administrative work, keeps the data accurate, and lets us focus on our actual projects instead of constantly chasing status updates.

We chose Oboard because we needed something that could handle an organizational strategy without forcing everyone to change how they already work. It does a really good job of connecting our high-level goals down to daily tasks without adding a bunch of extra steps. Our development teams can stay focused right inside Jira, while the rest of the company stays on the same page. It’s practical, flexible, and works well if you have different departments using different tools but still need to stay aligned. The executives are finally aware of how teams are contributing to strategic initiatives, and we are all finally aligned.
