Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant
As we continue to move towards a cloud future together, new server app sales and installs are no longer available for customers. You can update app version via Atlassian Marketplace until the end of support for server on Feb 15, 2024. Learn more
The best way to move everything you need from Confluence Server or Confluence Data Center to Confluence Cloud
Assess and evaluate your apps
Take inventory of on-premise apps within one app assessment screen. Develop a cloud app strategy by evaluating cloud app availability, feature parity, and migration paths using the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant.
Migrate spaces, users, and groups to cloud
Select on-premise Confluence spaces to copy to Atlassian cloud. Spaces migrate in parallel, without having to individually export and import them. Migrate your users and groups and continue to sync users whenever needed.
Get insights into the progress of your migrations
Create, save and run multiple migrations. Take the guessing out of migration thanks to real-time progress tracking that allows you to strategize when to migrate large data sets.
The Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant is the recommended way to migrate to Confluence Cloud. As you plan your migration, the app allows you to assess your on-premise app usage and develop an app migration strategy. Once you’re ready to move data, the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant also allows you to migrate spaces, users, and groups to cloud.
- Set up a Confluence Cloud site before migrating. If you haven’t already, start a free cloud migration trial.
- This app requires that your Confluence Server or Data Center runs on version 5.10.0 or above
- Review the server to cloud migration guide for an overview of the migration process.
*Note: CCMA 3.3.6 and older versions are unsupported. Upgrade to the latest CCMA version for optimal performance.
We’re continuing to invest in the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant and adding additional functionality. For more information on what we’ve got planned, visit the migration tooling section of the Atlassian Cloud Roadmap.
