Once in production, the elegant simplicity of Dragonboat's interface, very powerful and reliable integration with JIRA, and well-thought-out philosophy-basis help teams realize productivity gains very quickly. The customer success team gets it, and they have the most responsive and efficient support team that also deals quickly and efficiently with sensible enhancement request. A rare and real winner. Highly recommended.

Flexible roadmapping tool for the Agile Product Manager! Dragonboat is a very flexible tool which allows different product owners to manage their roadmaps how they prefer to, yet still make it possible to roll-up what is important at the enterprise level, such as resource needs. This was important to us as each of our Product Owners wanted to use it differently. The tool is super flexible to organize the backlog of Epics by timeframe, initiatives, sub-roadmaps, OKR's, theme, or any number of other fields. Assigning T-shirt size effort is easy with inline editing, similar to excel. The Portfolio List, which allows quick changes to the view and further provides capability to group and summarize effort, ended up being my easiest part of planning. The dashboard view makes it super easy to visualize the roadmap without overwhelming the audience you are sharing it with. The product is still evolving and improvements to resources and idea voting would be welcomed.

This company is extremely unprofessional! When it came to canceling our subscription, they never replied. We decided to go with Jira's advanced road mapping tool since it met all of our needs. I sent a message via the application and heard nothing. I then sent an email and received the standard reply that someone would be in touch. That was the last time I ever received a reply from them. There isn't a way to even call them. I sent 2 follow-up emails and finally had to reach out to our finance department about blocking their payments. Luckily, our card had already expired but I shouldn't have to go to such lengths. It's also fair to mention that they monitor your usage. That was a concern for us because the work we do is extremely sensitive. They were asking us very specific questions related to how we were interacting with the tools and monitoring on planning process. I did ask them to stop and they did comply, but it's worth mentioning. Additionally, they have a very aggressive marketing and training campaign. Several of our staff members received multiple emails and linkedin messages anytime they interacted with the tool. Granted they are offering training, but it's too much.

dragonboat is an effective and easy to use tool to plan projects and resources. We have many customer projects in our agency and need to juggle people and timeline between projects. Before that we tried many tools and still went back to spreadsheets. After being referred by a friend, we decided to give dragonboat a try. There are a couple things we really like in dragonboat. One is that it’s very flexible. Our teams have different preferences on the format. Some like spreadsheets, some like Gantt charts or kanban boards. dragonboat has all these formats so everyone is happy with what they want to use. I really like the resource planning and trade off features. We can plan our portfolio of projects in the most resource efficient way. It even has financials where most tools don’t have. We work so much better now as a team.
