This is working for us now just like the "DVCS accounts" integration used to, with both the old and new issue views, although it took a few hours of waiting for the initial setup to complete. The sync status (in "Manage apps" -> "Get started") had already transitioned to "COMPLETE" by the time I first looked at it (within minutes of the initial setup), but our commits weren't showing up on tickets yet, and the "DVCS accounts" page still showed the old disabled integration and the message saying to migrate to the new "app". A few hours later I looked again and the "DVCS accounts" page changed to a nicer intro/setup page with no mention of our previous/disabled GitHub integration, and it's also working now (commits/branches/PRs show up on tickets). From the new app's docs I was afraid we'd need to write issue IDs in square brackets in commit messages and PRs, but it's working without them like it used to with the "DVCS accounts" integration.

This has stopped working with the new Jira redesign.

From my understanding, Jira no longer uses DVCS accounts and so I needed to install this app instead. This app does not work and I couldn't get through Jira's documentation or search for anything on the internet to help me out. Going to try the top staff pick git integration app in the market place and see if I have any luck there.

Not working at its current state. Not a single PR or commit is linked.
