It works like a charm. We already had many triggers defined to listen push events from bitbucket and after github integration, everything works the same, do not have to touch or reconfigure anything in our workflows.

I see a number of reviews that say the setup is buggy. I just went through it and had no issues linking a GitHub Organization to my JIRA Cloud account. The process was very smooth.

Aleksei is totally right here. Glad I read his review first to be prepared for a bad install. I had to go through the process twice, then go through it again to confirm that it was working. I know the reason Atlassian changed this was because the "manual" process was too confusing, but you do know you are working for developers right? Copying / pasting an API key is something we do all the time, versus an opaque install process that we can't tell what its doing or if it succeeded.

The setup of the integration looks really buggy. So far a lot of redirects between GitHub and JIRA Cloud. Still no luck.
