Only for Enterprise might want to use this for small projects but not organization, maybe limit the number of updates then but not cut off if you don't have a Github enterprise.

It works. I think the issue most people have is that they aren't installing the GitHub app along with the Jira App that both have to be installed for this to work. You can find the best instructions on the actual GitHub repo: https://github.com/integrations/jira#using-the-integration However, the reason I'm giving it 1 star is the utter lack of abilities to do really anything useful. You can pretty much only control the integration via git commits and can only control tickets through the git commits. Along with controlling the tickets via git commits you have very limited capabilities where you can only use "Atlassian Smart Commits" which only allows you to add comments to a ticket, change the ticket status, and record logged hours of work. All of which has to be specified via the git commit message... And did I forget to say that you have to specify the ticket ID too? If you have to go dig up the ticket ID regardless, then what is the point? You might as well just update the ticket in the web interface at that point if you already have it open.
