    Introducing Power Add-ons

    Details

    We have recently launched a new portal inside our customers' Jira containing a suite of ready to apply Power Add-ons. This is a user interface designed to house pre-built scripts which bring the same functionality as other add-ons you can download from the marketplace and license separately. Users can simply plug and play with a few easy clicks. To use the Power Add-ons feature, users will simply pick an add-on they'd like to enable and set the variables from a range of drop-down selections. After clicking "apply" the script will run. The add-ons are designed to not only help remove the need to manually write scripts but also expand our users' Jira admin capabilities by housing all possible actions in one space regardless of the plugin that's used so customers have a central repository to control their automated actions. These are in its early stage and offers a range of available routines however there are many more features to be coming soon!

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Manage add-ons screen loads.
    3. Click Find new apps or Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
    4. Locate Power Salesforce Connector for Jira via search. Results include app versions compatible with your Jira instance.
    5. Click Install to download and install your app.
    6. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
