    With the Oomnitza app, you can view rich asset context within a Jira Service Desk ticket. Devices will appear based on the issue reporter, the built-in assets field, and any desired mapping.

    Oomnitza automates Jira Service Desk ticket creation using our workflow module. Enables Jira Service Desk customers to set criteria (say an employee leaving the company) that cause tickets to be automatically created.

    The new Oomnitza app gives your agents the ability to modify an associated asset record without leaving Jira Service Desk. Providing easy access inside Jira Service Desk will help you keep your asset records up to date.

    Details

    Oomnitza has released a brand new integration, compatible with Jira Service Desk and Jira Core. We worked alongside the Atlassian team to align on various guidelines to ensure the best user experience possible. Without leaving a support ticket, an agent may view all of the rich contextual information about the device, as well as modify configured fields such as “Status” and “Assigned To”. With the new Assets Platform addition to Jira Service Desk, we can synchronize devices from Oomnitza to Jira to make finding and linking assets efficient and effective.

    Oomnitza for Jira Service Desk works exclusively with Oomnitza version 4.2.2 and higher.

    Installation

    1. Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Oomnitza for Jira Service Desk.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
