    The Confluence Cloud for Microsoft Teams integration provides possibility to:

    • Display Confluence Cloud page or blogpost in the channel tab
    • Create new page as a sub-page to the displayed in the channel tab
    • Quickly navigate and provide reference to the Confluence Page via Messaging Extension

    With Confluence Cloud tab you may now add your Confluence page or blogpost in Microsoft Teams channel as a tab, so that your team could easily navigate, discuss or simply use it as a cheat sheet.

    Moreover, you can now quickly create child page to the one you have added as the Confluence Cloud tab. Whether it’s a meeting minutes or quick notes you’d like to state within the project documentation – it is now possible to do directly within Confluence Cloud tab.

    Confluence Cloud integration also provides Messaging Extension for Microsoft Teams with a handy search option within your Confluence pages.

    As it was mentioned previously on this page, your issue might be related to Free Confluence version. According to the article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-plans-972334171.html, not all permissions are available for the Free plan. In case you are not planning to upgrade your Confluence to the paid version, as a workaround, you can switch the subscription to Standard (Free Trial), connect your instance to the Microsoft Teams and switch back to Free plan (Confluence Settings - Manage subscriptions).

    Installation

    1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
    2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
    3. Locate Microsoft Teams for Confluence Cloud.
    4. Click Install to download and install your app.
    5. You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
