Swanly: Portfolio Roadmaps Structure Gantt, Release Timeline

At Appsvio, we have separate next-gen projects to represent each of our apps. I really wanted to show the progress of our work on the roadmap, based on the Start and Due date fields. Unfortunately, this functionality only works for the Epic issue type. What's more, I wanted to present the roadmap for each app on one common view. This was impossible with native Jira functionalities. Luckily, I found Swanly! - meets my requirements described above - is very easy to configure - customer support is super responsive - the ability to create stages for each task is my discovery, which is waiting to be implemented in the production environment I had experience before inter alia with Advanced roadmaps (formerly Portfolio) and until today I cannot configure this tool correctly. I wholeheartedly recommend Swanly :)

If you plan to manage and track your delivery this is just a perfect application for it. It gives a clear overview of all your project releases at once. Support provided by the Jexo team is amazing. They are very professional and dealt with requests we had promptly. Additional features we suggested were added in no time. Thank you!

I like the release tools on this plug-in, but the roadmap tool is missing several major features. The largest is that it does not appear to allow you to add/remove or rearrange columns on the roadmap grid when using "List" mode. It also hasn't had an update in over a year, so it does not appear that Appfire is actively working on improving the app. With Jira pushing the use of Business Projects, but only allowing "Jira Software" users to access Jira Advanced Roadmaps, this app could fill a gap if it were matured a little.

Swanly gives our company the ability to quickly create cross-project releases. In the Release View, the out-of-the-box reporting provides important and super helpful visibility of the Issue progress, Timetracking, Story points progress, and Burndown chart for each release. Having this visibility is a game-changer! We can also set custom stages for our process and further break down each stage with start and end dates to track to. The Issue View allows us to know who is working on what when and is imperative to our resource planning. I highly recommend Swanly to any Agile team.
