Great concept, especially since it supports CodeCommits, but seem incapable of getting it displaying commit information. Seems to clone all repositories to a server owned by BigBrassBand located somewhere, which is less desirable for our development activities. Not sure lacking data security statement on it (there was an out of disk space issue, and logging displays cloning all repositories somewhere). With some additional love it could be a great add-on for open source projects. *Reply here, can not reply to your response: thanks for your response. The screen looks different for me when I click on Try App and has different contents: see picture https://d.pr/free/i/9grCcx. It only informs the user that data with the host application is exchanged (I assume that that means JIRA). There seems to be something different about this customer journey. Maybe it can be corrected?

      Hi Guido -

As we discussed in the support tickets you opened - the BigBrassBand servers are hosted in Amazon Web Services in the USA. When a Jira admin connects a repository (or integration such as GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Gerrit, etc...) we fetch the Git repos and index the source code to support features like viewing source code in Jira. When you connect a Marketplace app to your Jira Cloud - you are prompted to agree (or disagree) that the supporting vendor gain access to your data and store it (screenshot).

We have a feature in our backlog to support indexing webhooks only --- this prevents the fetch and will support servers behind firewalls better (with the trade off of a reduced functions available in Jira).

We're using the dev info with GitLab and it really helped the developers to work faster. Also very easy setup and fast email support from the developer.
