Apptio Cloudability

The Cloudability app for JIRA does not support any customization. If the JIRA project is customized Cloudability may not be able to create an issue and will fail without an error message, simply a red "x" There is no way to change the issue type that is created. If there is a JIRA issue already created for a Right-sizing recommendation, there is no way to remove it or raise another issue.

Your feedback and the sentiment within the FinOps community encouraged us to invest more significantly in this integration with the goal of helping enterprises optimise cloud usage at scale. In response we've launched a full policy driven version of the Cloudability app where issues/change requests are created automatically in Jira Software or Jira Service Management based on savings thresholds you set. If you have custom fields that require a value set that is no problem, and you can set the issue type to "Task" or any of the standard options. If you close these issues/change requests out on the Atlassian end they'll be reflected as such within Cloudability. We are keen to hear from customers regarding this update so please do reach out and we'd be happy to work with you on a successful implementation.
