We’re excited to launch the first Forge-based version of Easy Issue Templates for Jira! This release brings smoother integration and sets the stage for big improvements.
What’s New & Improved:
- Automated Prefilling: Set default templates per Project and Issue Type to auto-fill Jira fields.
- Native Create Screen Integration: Select and apply templates directly in Jira’s issue creation screen.
- Improved Field Support: Extended support for more fields across views and flows.
- New Template Page: The old popup is replaced by a full page, aligning with Forge architecture.
- Stricter Template Administration: Project Admins can now view only global templates and those scoped specifically to their own projects.
- Bug Fix: Template scope changes now submit correctly on the first try.
