Very nice! You should add a shortcut to Jira menu, under People menu and action to display the main Google Calendar set by admin. Is nice in gadgets but to display in main menu of Jira will be very useful! Name of the calendar menu displayed in Jira menu to can be set by admin! Will be nice if you add a dotted color (bullet) before events (like Google Calendar display), admin to choose the color.
