Installation

  1. Sign up with Migration Wizard and set up a new data migration.
  2. Pick SolarWinds Service Desk as your source platform. Then, provide the necessary account details.
  3. In the same way, connect your Jira Service Management account.
  4. Next, select the Project and Issue type for your tickets.
  5. Select objects you want to migrate between SolarWinds and Jira Service Management.
  6. Then, match user profiles and select a default agent for all inactive, deleted, and unassigned users.
  7. Map your SolarWinds fields to Jira Service Management. For custom field migration, create them in the target project first. You can also add missing fields from SolarWinds Service Desk.
  8. Map article fields between SolarWinds Service Desk and Jira Service Management.
  9. Customize your SolarWinds Service Desk to Jira migration by selecting the needed automated options.
  10. Complete the mapping, then start the Free Demo Migration to verify data accuracy. After completion, check the results for migrated, skipped, and failed records. If everything looks great, proceed with your Full Migration, or contact us for assistance.
