Installation

  1. Sign up with Migration Wizard and set up a new data migration.
  2. Connect Kayako to the Migration Wizard as your source help desk. Input the required access credentials to connect it to our migration tool.
  3. Choose Jira Service Management as your target platform and provide your URL, username, and API token.
  4. Then, choose a project in Jira Service Management and the future Issue type for your tickets.
  5. Next is data mapping. Simply tick the boxes next to the records you want to migrate to Jira Service Management.
  6. Then, map users between Kayako and Jira Service Management and pick up a default user profile.
  7. Map the fields you had in Kayako and fields in Jira Service Management. Also, you can create the missing field in Jira Service Management while mapping.
  8. Map content fields between Kayako and Jira Service Management.
  9. Tailor your Kayako to Jira migration by handpicking the pre-built custom options.
