    Summary

    Kayako to Jira Service Management Migration

    Installation

    • Sign up for a Help Desk Migration account on our website and set up a new data migration.
    • Connect Kayako to the Migration Wizard as your source help desk. To do so, choose it from the drop-down list of the supported platforms and input the required access credentials to your account. Thus, the tool will be able to reach your help desk data and move it.
    • Connect Jira Service Management in the same way.
    • Then, choose a project in Jira Service Management you'd like to import your data to as well as the future Issue type for your tickets.
    • The next stage is data mapping. Here, you have to tick the boxes near the records you want to get moved to Jira Service Management.
    • Map the fields you had in Kayako and fields in Jira Service Management.
    • When the mapping is ready, start with the free demo migration. During the migration, the tool will pick out 20 tickets and move them to Jira Service Management. The demo takes up to 5 minutes, and afterward, you’ll be able to check the result of the data migration.
    • If you’re satisfied with the outcome, proceed further to your full data migration.
