Secure email communication for Jira and Jira Service Management with S/MIME or PGP

Be free to decide how (and when) to encrypt

It's your choice which encryption you prefer - S/MIME or PGP. You can even use both encryption types at the same time. Encryption is supported for outgoing as well as incoming email, and it may be set up per project.

Take advantage of central key management

S/MIME certificates and PGP keys can be centrally managed for all Jira users. You are free to use the Jira user directory, a key server, an external LDAPs, or a local keystore file, or any combination of these.

Allow users to manage their certificates or keys

Optionally, in addition to the central key management, you can allow Jira users and Jira Service Management customers to upload their S/MIME certificates or PGP keys, giving you the greatest flexibility possible.

More details

Have you ever felt uneasy about the fact that Jira sends out notification emails with unprotected confidential information about your projects or your customers?

Finally, here's an easy way to protect your emails. The app secures your Jira communication by encrypting all emails sent out to users, and also by decrypting incoming emails from users.

S/Notify offers the most comprehensive and flexible way to add email encryption to Jira. If you need S/MIME, or PGP or both, want to encrypt all emails or only in specific projects, S/Notify can do it for you.

Did you know?

Encrypted email does not only protect you from unwanted disclosure while in-transit. Email encryption is end-to-end, so even makes it impossible for the unauthorized to read messages that are stored on mail servers or client computers or any other place like backup devices. This makes it suitable for HIPAA compliant Protected Health Information.

S/Notify Email Encryption is also available for Confluence and Bitbucket!
