The cloud-version of this app offers a good solution for a basic SharePoint => Confluence integration. Not all SharePoint content is supported, because what's really missing is the integration of SharePoint Page content (or web parts) and also Lists. So it does show Document Libraries, but those newer data-based List types are not supported. So when you're looking for a decent documents focused integration then the SharePoint Connector for Confluence offers exactly that, but when you've the need to embed other frequently used content types the this app seems to be limited (and therefor probably a bit expensive, too). We didn't have integrated Confluence into SharePoint, as we don't have an use case for it (yet). It also seems less straightforward the the Confluence integration, so maybe you should consult a SharePoint developer for that.

  You might have already seen it - last week we’ve released some major improvements to our handling of SharePoint lists!

  • Customizable Columns: Previously, lists displayed 3 predefined columns. Now, you can choose any columns you’ve defined for your lists. This applies to both document libraries and custom lists.

  • Items per Page: You can now choose how many items you want to display on one page of the list, giving you better control over your viewing preferences.

The app allows us to use Confluence exclusively as what it is: a WIKI tool. If someone wants to store files/attachments in relation to a wiki article in Confluence, this can be done in the designated SharePoint thanks to the SharePoint Connector. The required connection between SharePoint and Confluence is mapped by this app and has become an integral part of our environment. We can no longer imagine our day-to-day work without this app.
