There are 3 vendors for Harvest time tracking which I think this is the main features for each of them: Harvest: Syncs one direction only (JIRA to Harvest) automatically. 42nd: Syncs manually from Harvest to JIRA , JIRA to Harvest automatically. Twin Sun: Sync automatically and bi-directional.

Our org has been using this app for about a year, after a really poor experience with the native Harvest integration and evaluating a few other add-ons. While there are some user behaviors that are necessary to keep the time tracking correct (starting a fresh timer *from Jira* daily, syncing daily) this is the best bridge between Jira and Harvest we've found, and we can now keep track of our work and budget burn-up simultaneously without requiring double entry for worklogs.

Avoid. I do not suggest you use this if you can avoid it at all. As others have noted, it is not reliable. This is unfortunate because the technology is there to make it work well but the developer appears to not be interested in doing that. I have had quite a bit of communication with the developer and he is very responsive and nice but sadly, this product just doesn't work well. To be specific: 1. The timers don't always sync. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I'd guess the percentage is about 60% of the time they do sync. 2. The developer's solution for that is to manually sync the timers via a special sync page they created. There are two major issues with this, though: 1. This requires a manual action when none is needed. All the information is available for accurately syncing the time. It's very easy to forget to do this. 2. The sync page is very prone to double-adding time entries. So even when it is used regularly, it's problematic. So, the idea is great and there is definitely a need for this plugin. It just isn't reliable enough to be worth it. Avoid unless you need a temporary stop-gap solution.
