Outlook Email for Jira (Integration, Templates, Automation)

After 18 months of using this, I'm updating my review. My PREVIOUS review said the add-in "just works" -- After 18 months of use, I have to temper that a bit. I've seen a lot of strange behavior from this add-in... where it won't login properly, where it won't properly find data field values, and where it won't properly provide the data from an email that you want to use to author a new issue. So... I'm less enthused than I was originally. Word is a vastly updated version is in the works, so we will see if this makes things better.

My job description includes being a Jira admin, but that's only one small part of what I do. So, I typically don't have the time to stop what I'm doing to pull apart an email every time one comes in with action items in it. This app allows me to pull an actionable email into Jira in a matter of seconds without really having to break my train of thought. In this way, I can make sure I'm up-to-date in Jira without spending all my time in Jira. The result is that there is more time for me to focus on the work that Jira is supposed to be helping me to complete in the first place. In the short time I've been using this app I've come to rely on it, I definitely recommend it.
