Instabug for Jira: Bug Reporting

What I would have liked for this plugin, is for it to work with Jira's advanced form fields, but my expectation was that it would likely only work with basic Jira fields. This is all in well except in some situations there are bugs, especially when dealing with numbers, which I would think are on par or less complex than strings in a lot of respects. This being said, syncing with most custom fields seem to work, the downside being it adds an element of human error to Jira by not being compatible with Jira's non-editable advanced field(s). Most of the fields sync once at the time of creation in Jira, while only a few have two way continuous syncing (status and comments). Fields like priority even though they have the same number of values in both Jira and Instabug cannot be synced or custom mapped to set up equivalent values. That being said, from a workflow standpoint, there is still benefit in setting up this widget. It's not at a point of seamless integration, and developers will likely still need to look at Instabug. Some of the previous comments about this integration flat out not working is untrue, and they likely did something wrong setting it up. Sure it's not the most straight forward to set up, but it still works. Excellent customer service. The team in general responds quickly to any questions I may have. There have been times when Nadine is online helping me when it's really late in her timezone. Really appreciate her and the rest of the team's help. They are receptive to product improvement suggestions. Overall very happy with the product and the integration will jira helps keep the data consistent automatically.

Great Product, and seamless integration. I have had a couple of weird edge cases, and the support team is always super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend using Instabug in any app.

The set up was seamless - took less than 5min. It works well both ways, and there are many opportunities to bring efficiency to whole chain from developer to user (i.e once a Instabug-reported bug is closed in JIRA, set up a rule in Instabug to send a canned response to reporting user). Only thing that would be approved is successfully reviewing screen recordings in Jira, it does not seem to be working consistently. I just wish I would have started using this earlier.

We were initially dubious on the value of instabug for the cost, but after just a week the whole team is super happy with it! Bugs are so much easier to report and fix and the in-app surveys and notifications will add huge value to us as we develop our offering. Integrations are invaluable for our workflow that involves both Dev team (on JIRA) and customer service (on Asana). Awesome product for us!
