Microsoft Teams for Jira Data Center

Horrible App. Incredibly flaky. Constantly disconnects from Jira and unable to reconnect. Support is trying their best but I get the feeling that no one really knows how this works. Throws "Unknown" errors in teams constantly. Right now it is asking me to sign in with my microsoft account but not actually giving me the button to do so.

I'm concerned about this add-on from a security point of view. Why must we create a trusted Application Link between Jira (Data Center) and MS Team (which is internet facing)? You're requiring Jira sys-admins to "Trust" MS Teams. Why should we think that MS Teams is trustworthy!? Why do I need to give MS Teams full unfettered sys-admin level access to my Jira instance. Our Jira instance is NOT exposed to the internet for security reasons. But MS Teams IS exposed to the internet. It seems that by creating the required Trust / Application Link with MS Teams, in Jira, I am allowing the possibility for a bad actor who manages to compromise MS Teams, to gain full sys-admin level access to my Jira instance and by extension, access inside our firewall. For this reason, I'm unwilling to install this add-on in after having a temporarily installed it in a Dev instance to trial it. I'd be grateful for any concurrence from others, or for an explanation of how/why my understanding/reasoning about this risk might be flawed. If I'm wrong and there is no incurred risks from using this add-on, I will be happy to change my review.

Hello everyone, we are from Montreal-QC-Canada, and our Jira SW DC instance is configured in french. During tests using Jira Server plugin in Teams, we found few issues not only with the language but with mandatory fields. 1) create ou edit : message not clear about mandatory fields or permissions 2) the project list does not display the list of projets user has access but only the projects displayed on the web menu (projects) 3) all lists do not work when using Jira in french. When statut is changed in french, an error is displayed. To fix that, I had to change Jira to english. 4) columns are not configurable (add, remove, reordered) It was very disappointing. We didn't find any benefit to go further using the plugin.

Hi, Excellent plugin that we would like continue using. We are testing 8.22.1 and this plugin is not compatible on this version, are you working on it?

Bad user experience with the same problems as Azfar and Michael
