    More details

This is the introductory release of Structure.Gantt for Jira Cloud. Just like its full-featured Server/Data Center counterpart, this app is designed to be adaptable and to support your existing processes instead of forcing your teams to change the way they work.

We start with a few essential features such as visualization of tasks based on the start/finish dates and estimates, visualization of dependencies and milestones. In the near future, you can expect to see resource management and the ability to configure the chart to support teams and projects that use different settings.

To stay informed about the latest changes in Structure.Gantt Cloud, please follow us via ReleaseNotes.io.

    Notes:

    • This version requires the Structure Cloud, which is sold separately.
    • The current pricing reflects the feature set that is available now. It will change later, when more features are added.
    • Cloud version is different from Server/DC version.

My first impression was: fully integrated and seamless turn into productive. But problems are often caused by the way I used tools so far or I'm used to think. A requests at the Almworks support site and they did not only provide an instant solution to the issue I worked on but they also accepted the feedback as a point to discuss within the further product development. The tool gives us more oportunities in aquisistion and planning - that's amazing. I can invest my time on planning instead on fightin with the tool.

Gregg customer service for a great plugin. Structure.Gantt helps our leads better understand their workload. Integration with Jira makes it an automatic process, but it allows manual control — and when I had questions on that, the support team was quick to help.

Structure Gantt has been a great addition to our plugin library. While we are an agile shop we do still need to track against key beta, release, and other dates, and the ability to visualize those dates is a great aid to planning and collaboration. It is easy to setup, flexible, and powerful. Along with Structure it helps us group work in a logical manner across interdependent teams and communicate effectively with leadership. The ability to display Structure Gantt chart in confluence via a Confluence gadget allows all kinds of stakeholders, including those without JIRA, to view our latest Gantt and progress. we use GANT for about 10 months and are very satisfied with it. In our project we are developing ECU for electric vehicles, which among other things will serve as a remote diagnostic control unit. For which activities we have used your product (GANT): * classical project task planning * Visualization of dependencies between stories, epics (great demand from product owner synchronisation) * Assignment of stories to iteration times * Visualization of critical paths * gives us the flexibility to synchronize waterfall methods with agile planning methods/views In the beginning we used version 1.0. After that we used V2. At first sight this version seems to be more stable than the old version. Antonín Ečer, DiS. IT Specialist Digiteq Automotive s.r.o.

Our team of 40+ engineers were already using JIRA as part of their agile development to co-operate and track task progress. Structure for Jira allowed us to better group tasks into hierarchical work packages, particularly for cross-project developments. Adding the Structure.Gantt extension has enabled us to achieve three core objectives:- engineers have direct input to task timescale estimation and tracking; project management can focus on resolving issues and planning rather than tracking; the company can collaborate using a single tool, both saving money and providing a traceable development method to meet the needs of ISO9001:2015 certification.

Structure.Gantt is probably the best production tool that has come out since JIRA itself. I have used it at for an extensive number of use cases: portfolio schedule, quarterly planning work + capacity visualization, change deployment schedule, team roadmap, project retros and for complex waterfall infrastructure projects. There are a few truly unique strengths to Structure/Gantt that make it especially awesome. The ability to arbitrary define start and end dates of schedule items with a scripting language or JIRA field data gives you so much power. Take for example the use case of our change schedule. We make tickets for changes into production, and on those tickets users need to indicate when change windows will start and end. We then use those fields to automatically create a schedule view of all the changes across the company by setting the start and end date of items in the gantt to "change window start" and "end" fields. You can also build schedules by using transition dates. By doing this you can rebuild the schedule of ANY project in your past, or to see the real performance of current projects vs a plan. Super powerful! Slices allow for you to override the basic config and behavior of Gantt items in some cases. For example of my teams has "risk" issue types associated with epics, but these aren't work items, and shouldn't appear on the gantt. No problem, create a slice which simply excludes risk issue types from the gantt. The gantt plugin itself is fully integrated into the basic benefits of Structure itself in a way which clearly demonstrate design unity. It leverages all the strengths of Structure but just enhances it. What I mean is that while Structure added formulas, when combined with the Gantt, you can now design reports in creative ways and visualize the underlying data. This is incredibly powerful! Structure.Gantt's perhaps biggest strength is it's flexibility to meet institutional context. I have some projects being run in waterfall, some using story points/scrum and some kanban. It can accommodate all these use cases and you can generally customize anything you don't like about it. I compare it here to Big Picture and Portfolio, both of which struggle in this regard. While Structure.Gantt is more a toolbox for production, the others are more "Do it this way." The formula and JQL emphasis allows one to be really creative in the management of production tooling. I fully endorse this plugin!

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
