We have implemented Scroll Documents for Confluence and Scroll Documents for Word and are very happy with the results. We are also happy with the tech support for these products. Whenever we have an issue they respond within 24 hrs and they provide a solution within the next 3 days. Often, the response time is even faster. We use the products for version control of our government documentation, and to produce government deliverables that adhere to our documentation standards.

I have tried out the Cloud demo version and have mixed experiences. The open in viewer that you use after you have created a document consequently opens in a minimized state in the upper left corner of the screen and is impossible to expand (thus it is impossible to view a document) Creating new documents hangs quite often, you need to close the browser and restart it On the paper this plug-in seems really useful but right now it appears absolutely unstable. I use the Scroll PDF Exporter, Comala Workflow and other products and experience no problems at all, but this one really does not work for me Also the function being able to include documents from multiple spaces into one document looked very attractive but as far as I can see the only way to do that is to establish copy in the new document (which Scroll Documents easily does for you), but then you have to pages with the same content, and that is really not what you want. System: Dell Lattitude 5580 with Windows PRO version 1903, using Google Chrome version 79.0.3945.130 - 64 bit.

Hi Dag, thanks for your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear that you had mixed experiences with the app and our support team would like to work with you to resolve your specific case. It would be great if you could get in touch with us at support@k15t.com. This will create a support case and we can use that channel to troubleshoot the issues you experienced.

In addition to adding new pages and copying pages like you mentioned, the app does support the ability to include page from multiple spaces into the same document. Some of our customers need to be able to do both which is why we support all three options.

Again, we’re sorry to hear your trial wasn’t positive, but we’d like to work with you to troubleshoot these issues and help you achieve the result you were looking for with the app.

    Cheers, Shannon (K15t)

TLDR: If you run a public facing Confluence Cloud space, then this app is pretty much a must have. At ThinkTilt this app is essential to maintaining the public documentation site for ProForma (docs.thinktilt.com). It solves a number of key pain points in running a publicly accessible space on Confluence Cloud. 1. It allows us to draft changes to our documentation in a private space, be the change to one page or to ten. When we are ready to publish the changes to the public space, we can do so in seconds. 2. The app can publish multiple pages at once, and updates the all of the internal links and images so that the copied pages work as expected. 3. We can easily create versions of our documentation. This allows us to retrieve older versions of a particular page (or even a whole set of pages) if a customer requests it. 4. In conjunction with Scroll PDF Exporter we can easily turn our documentation into PDFs, and have the confidence that our PDF guides reflect exactly what is on our documentation space. 5. And it works with Refined as well, which is just icing on the cake.

    Hey Simon,

Thanks for taking the time to write such an awesome, detailed review of the app. We really appreciate it! We’re glad Scroll Documents fits so well into your documentation process and even better to hear that you’re using in tandem with Scroll PDF Exporter and Refined.

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Confluence Cloud apps are priced based on the number of Confluence users on your instance. For example, if you have Confluence Cloud (25 users), you pay the 25-user price for apps.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Academic, community and open source licenses are not available for cloud apps.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
