I agree with the previous comments. If you can't set the size of the window or specify a starting point (frame), then this really isn't very useful. I look forward to using it when it has those features. Also, if you try to pan inside the miro window while using a mouse and accidentally release the mouse button outside of the window, it will miss the mouse up event and get stuck in panning mode. This makes it painful to just pan around to look at things.

+1 for the adding vertical resizing and directly embedding with a specific frame displayed.

Hi Sebastian, thank you for the feedback, it will be counted!

I love that this exists, but it needs two things in order to be useful: 1) Vertical re-sizing. There just isn't enough room for people to want to use the embed rather than clicking through to the board itself. 2) The ability to set a frame. As is, I would need to make a separate Miro board every time I want to embed anything (this obviously goes against the whole infinite canvas concept). If I could pick a frame to start in, then we can just use a single board for all our flow charts and such. Currently we are just linking to frames directly rather than using the embed, due to these issues. Fix those two things and this will make Miro and Confluence a very powerful combo. Thanks!

Hi Joel!Thank you so much for your feedback! These will be great improvements, and they are in our plans. I will not give you an accurate date yet, but we will definitely tell you when it happens.

The free app is useless. Clickbait. You need to have a paid plan with Miro to use boards.

Hi Hendick – Thanks for your interest in this integration. We have updated the functionality so that currently, you don’t have to be a Miro user to view, comment, or edit boards on any of your Confluence pages if the owner has specified this type of access. However, the owner still needs to be on any of the Miro paid accounts to embed the boards.

The macro works, it's just that there's so little vertical real estate. Can you make it so that we can adjust the vertical size of miro boards?

    Minor version update

    Versions

    Version 2.0.0 Confluence Server 5.9.1 - 7.5.1 Released 2020-04-27

    Summary

Now you can add Miro boards as full-featured live embeds.

    Details

The very anticipated update is here!

    1. Add full-featured Miro boards to Confluence so that you can edit them without switching between tabs. Manage board access by selecting any of the embedding options:

    • Anyone can view. No sign-in required.
    • Anyone can comment. No sign-in required.
    • Private. Sign-in and access to board required.

Within all the options, your boards remain private for the web and will only be available from your Confluence pages.

    2. Newly embedded boards are now secured with OAuth flow, so there's no more complex plugin configuration. Previously embedded boards will remain as auto updatable SVG-images (as before). If you want to transform them into full-featured boards, you need to re-embed the board and specify permission options.
