Decent app. But... So I wanted to log the time and be able to bill the client. What I found is that Everhour only supports adding the time. If you want to modify / delete - you go to their dashboard. I even tried to use automation and made an API call trying to syncs both Jira Time Tracking and Everhour. I like Jira Time Tracking a log it is just limited in what you can do. So I wanted to keep both. But to modify the time you need a everhour identifyer else it acts as a new time deduction or addition and not modifying of existing time log entry. And if you delete - it does delete them all. Sure there could be a way to marry 2 together - I am done with exploring it. What I also dont' like that 5 person minimum policy Everhour has. They say hey you can fill in those spots later. Really? What would I be paying for them? Absolutely not. My opinion is pretty subjective so it may work for you I don't know. I found a way to export worklogs / multiply it by rate in some excell sheet for free / I will automate it and that will be what I am looking for. I am not paying no $300 a year for their app to calculate a few things for me. I get it that it is a 1.2 version and they are looking to add more stuff / integrate it better. But the decision to only implement add time (there is no way to edit your time from jira or to delete it) is just not the way I would do it. Do the full thing. I can understand that syncing Jira Tracking and Everhour could be something that is done down the road - but only implementing add? People have been using Jira Tracking so they at least want to keep it and not jump in bed with a brand new vendor. You at least want to be respectfull of that and take care of them by showing that you care. You sync the time so their flow cas stay uninterrupted and you just add a value to it by offering your product. At least that would be my decision. Others may like it - I don't. Advise: analyze current use cases and how jira clients are using the jira product then see how you can get in to extend (and not modify) their flow.

Initially while working with Jira we had a need to measure the time of our teams in projects. Our main idea was to improve the way we worked based on actual data. After that we also realized that we should have a tool that can help us plan and track time. We started with Tempo planner and timesheets. After several updates from those two tools we decided that we were no longer a fit and that we needed a real solution to our issues that was bug free and that could actually help us invoice our customers too. Everhour is transparent, clear and very easy to use. We now track our time, plan out team time in projects and also we invoice our customers in an easy and simple way. Things could not get better!

Time Tracking was one of our first consideration when moving to Jira, but all the other offerings gave us cumbersome systems that we did not need. Everhour is great because it allows us to track time through multiple mechanism, which drops the barriers of entry for developers who often want to report time their own way. Everhour gave us 2-3 ways to track and update time. We love the transactional per user pricing as well.

I really find the Jira integration useful. It helps the entire team track their time, as well as the project managers to have a better understanding on every member's velocity.
