Need to get going but want to keep an eye on your ticket? Just scan the QR code with your phone. Need to do testing on a mobile device? Have the QR code point to the necessary URL saving time and preventing errors.
You can save the QR code as an image and print if you want to make a physical QR code to display somewhere else.
Don't want the QR Code to link to the ticket? You can instead configure the QR Code add-on to link to the text of any issue field.

This add-on displays a QR code in the sidebar of the ticket, which you can scan to work on mobile, or save and print to attach to an item.

Support Native apps for standard view
Details
Along with some minor fixes/updates, this release includes native app (iOS, Android, Mac) support for linking to tickets. Due to a Jira bug, issue field support is not yet available, but coming soon.
Installation
- Log into your Jira instance as an admin.
- Click the admin dropdown and choose Add-ons. The Find new apps or Find new add-ons screen loads.
- Locate QR Code for Jira Cloud.
- Click Install to download and install your app.
- You're all set! Click Close in the Installed and ready to go dialog.
