More details

Keysight has decided to publicly release the plugins developed in-house to support our instance of Confluence. The source code for the plugins is available under an Apache 2 license from https://bitbucket.org/keysight/keysight-plugins-for-atlassian-products.

The guidance plugin was developed to help our documentation authors who want to follow the conventions made popular in Framework Design Guidelines: Conventions, Idioms, and Patterns for Reusable .NET Libraries by Krzysztof Cwalina and Brad Abrams by using the key phrases of DO, CONSIDER, AVOID, and DO NOT to highlight guidelines. The plugin provides several macros - an inline version and a block versions of the macro. The inline version just inserts the phrase in bold with the proper check or cross graphic. The block will indent several paragraphs under the guidance term do graphically show they are one guideline.
