Version 2.1.0•for Bitbucket Data Center 9.0.0 - 9.6.2
- Release date
- Jul 2nd 2025
- Summary
- Removal of Jupyter Notebooks support.
- Details
New in this release:
- In this release, we’ve removed support for reading Jupyter Notebook files (.ipynb). This is part of a broader effort to simplify our codebase and remove redundant functionality. Bitbucket now supports native rendering of Jupyter Notebooks by default, starting from version 7.7.0, making our own implementation unnecessary. Additionally, this change contributes to improved security by reducing surface area for potential vulnerabilities and aligning with modern best practices.
