QA Service for Jira connects your Jira instance to test IO’s network of professional testers who test your software in the real world on real devices, then file detailed bug descriptions with screencasts and steps to reproduce, so you can ship faster and sleep better.

Testers can execute your test cases, perform exploratory tests, and verify bugs. You can test whole apps or sections of the app, choosing the devices or browsers you want.

With this app, if you’re a test IO customer you can connect test IO to your Jira instance in minutes, so testers’ reports are available without leaving Jira. If you’re not a test IO customer, this app will install, but it won’t be useful without a test IO subscription. We’re happy to give you a free test against one of your projects so you’ll know what our testers can do and how it fits with your Jira workflow.

Details: This update resolves major display issues in the latest Jira Cloud UI and brings bug triage functionality closer to parity with the Jira Server add-on.
New Features and Fixes
Resolved: “Unknown app” labels — All feature tools (e.g., Configuration, Bug Triage, Exploratory Tests, User Stories) now display correctly in the Apps menu.
Expanded Exploratory Test View — Test result cards now show open vs. total bugs, bug distribution by severity, test step outcomes, and dynamic severity graphs.
Severity Filtering in All Bugs — Added support for filtering bugs by severity across all categories. Users can now click severity labels (e.g., Critical, High) to instantly filter results.
API Enhancements — Cloud plugin now uses updated API logic to support severity filtering.
