I agree with Mikalai comment. When will the update be delivered and what will be included? We are testing this plugin and the lack of people tagging (@) is a deal breaker Kind regards

Right now this is the only option for Jira Cloud users. Does a basic job, but needs some big improvements... 1) Not "true" threading. Threading is only one-level deep. Cannot reply to a reply. 2) Reply text is lost without warning when clicking on any links in the Threaded Comments tab. 3) Images do not display thumbnails in Threaded Comments tab. 4) Documentation link has been deleted. 5) Thread replies to not support auto-complete for user ids. 6) Thread replies to not support markup assistance. 7) Thread replies to not support comment preview. 8) Thread replies cannot be sorted, and they sort most recent to the top. This doesn't make sense because then the "story" does not read chronologically. 9) Threads not displayed by default. Have to click on top-level comment to see lower-level threaded comments. 10) Thread nesting is not nicely-displayed. Could use better visual cues to separate comments and replies.

    Hi Glenn,

    Thank you for your review.

    1) The one-level deep is an architectural choice we made, like Slack for example, that simplifies threads use (too much nested levels of comments is not good for readability for example). Moreover, the one level thread choice gives the possibility to list all the current threads and displays them in the "view all threads" panel and accessing to them is then easier.

    2) Will be fixed in the next version.

    3) This functionality is interesting but is not yet on our priorities.

    4) Documentation link is now OK: https://ugubibiz.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/THDCJC/overview

    5) Will be implemented in the next version.

    6) It supports markup already, but there is no assistance, for the moment. Will be implemented in the next version.

    7) Will be implemented in the next version.

    8) Thread replies are sorted based on the main thread sorting that can be set with the top-right arrow button.

    9) Good idea. Will be implemented in the next version.

    10) Will be enhanced in the next version.

You are right, right now this is the only option for Jira Cloud users. And this is why we first made this "simple" version such that we can now take all the feedback and enhance it based on the real end users needs, like yours described here.

    Cheers,

    Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.
