Hi Brock, really sorry to hear that you experienced slow loading. We've worked on some performance issues and hope to have addressed those. For the issue descriptions, that's a new feature that we're working on!

Made me sign up for some cloud nonsense and install rubbish locally on pc. Needs to work from the browser.

Hey Ian, sorry about the confusion here. Would it help if we updated the copy on the 'Overview' page? CloudApp is primarily a desktop app for Mac and Windows that allows you to:

    • Annotate Screenshots
    • Record Your Screen as a High Def Video or GIF
    • Upload and Share Files

All of the magic here uses functionality that is more powerful from the desktop, and that's why we've built it in this way. We'll have a Chrome extension in the future, if that would be helpful for you?

It has been great so far. I find it really handy when it comes to adding videos to a ticket when you need to reproduce a bug, etc. Really useful for our support team that doesn't have the free time to write a full description of how to reproduce!

It is very useful app. But, it takes time to get used to it. Works great from technical point of view, no bugs observed.

I like the new integration. Now it's easier to attach screenshots and recordings to issues. What I can say is that this window is becoming annoying: https://cl.ly/1e0v0G0s2J2B. I did not use it until now. I can't tell that it is not useful, but I would appreciate if it would be minimized by default. I would find it useful that the CloudApp field will appear here when I create a new issue: https://cl.ly/0k3z1D102m0C. I must say I love your tool and appreciate your drive for continuous improvement. Keep up the good work.

Pro: I like the idea of having access to all the screenshots I have made I like the idea of editing the annotations on a screenshot days after it was made I like having access to my screenshots in JIRA, big plus here Easy to add remove etc. I like having access to my screenshots in browser, even I can see them in my local app With each day I use CloudApp I discover more and more cool functionalities which are surprising me Concluding, I like to use CouldApp and when I am saying that just have in mind I was a user of Jing. I got used to use Jing but CloudApp is more beyond it. Con: In JIRA maybe the CouldApp box is to big but maybe I am a developer and I don’t need to have access to all screenshots I’ve ever made Not sure if it’s a bug from you or JIRA but I’d not put the text: No more Drops here, in top right corner, maybe at the end would be better. In JIRA I’d like to see the Drops inside the current page/tab, in a popup maybe, cos at this moment when I click a Drop it opens the screenshot in new tab/window.

I just wanna let you know that the embed of CloudApp with JIRA it’s AMAZING! It saves me a lot of time when I want to share different things with my team. The instant access to screen recordings and screen shots from the app, inside the JIRA task screen it’s the thing I wanted for a long time and couldn’t find it until I stumble on you guys. You are AMAZING! Thank you for this! Keep on rocking!

Hi Phil, thanks so much for reporting this. We're working on a fix and will follow up tomorrow (Wednesday) with a timeline.*Update: Hey Phil, we've potentially isolated the issue. Would you mind sending us an email at support@getcloudapp.com so we can look into this a bit more with you?Update 8/17: We've isolated an issue and made an update. Could you let us know if things are fixed on your end? Thanks!

I'm really impressed with CloudApp so far. The drops section is very handy for linking annotated screenshots. It makes things a lot easier. However, I personally would prefer that the image is uploaded and attached to the Jira task rather than 'dropped in'. But it's not a deal breaker at present as the app itself is so easy to use. Keep up the great work!

Thank you, Josephine! We'll take your feedback into consideration :)
