Hide Time Tracking plugin hides time tracking information in Jira UI from users who are not allowed to log work (users without "Work on Issues" permission).

Simply install the add-on, switch time tracking provider in Jira settings to "Hide Time Tracking" and enjoy - users without "Work on Issues" permission won't see time tracking information any more.

Plugin hides time tracking information ONLY from Issue View page and Agile Issue Preview, i.e.:

  • "Time Tracking" panel
  • "Work Log" tab
  • "Log work" button and dialog

Please note that time tracking information is still available from several other places across Jira (Activity Stream, REST API, Reports, etc.)

It is technically not possible to hide time tracking information from other places due to Jira API limitation.
