Add Cucumber Scenario to User Story

    Store Cucumber File in Git

    Settings

Show your Gherkin/Cucumber scenario right inside the User Story in Jira.

Other plugins force you to store your scenarios inside Jira or Confluence and then export them to your source repository. But they do belong right next to your code and need to be versioned.

Easily configure your bitbucket or github repository on per Jira project.

    More details

    Setup:

    • Install the plugin
    • In the project settings open the "Scenarios Integration" tab and configure your repo. Your Password will be stored (encrypted) inside your Jira instance, not on our server.
    • Add the two custom fields "scenario file" and "scenario rev" to the issue type(s) you want augment with scenarios.
    • The plugin will show the scenario as soon as the "scenario file" custom field has content.

see the documentation for more instructions.

Any plans to have it for Server version of JIRA?

Really keen to have a look at this, unfortunately we are running Server version of Jira rather than Cloud. I understand you are looking to produce and add-on for Server as well, any rough idea on the proposed ETA for this?

Unfortunatly we don't yet have an ETA for the server version of it. Since the Addon-APIs of Server and Cloud differ fundamentally it's not a small task to port a plugin.

Hi! Are you going to add ability for adding several repositories instead of one?
    linkyard ltd.

Hi, you can already add more that one repository by creating more than one Jira project. There are currently no plans to support multiple repositories per project as this would add quite some complexity.

We think it makes sense to consolidate all features for a project into a single repository, else the versioning is no longer overreaching and you lose quite a part of the benefit of storing them inside git.

Hi everyone, how do you use it into Jira Cloud please ? We don't know how to link .feature files to a specific story. Thx

    Hi,

I added to additional screenshots that should better explain the process. You'll need to add the "scenario file" and "scenario revision" to your issue screen (ie using the 'Where is my field?" function).

    Regards, Mario

I would like to be able to help you with the "server" version of the plugin. Is it possible to contribute to the project?

    Absolutely, that'd be great!
