Perfect for filling in some of the gaps that Jira has. We've been very happy with both the product and the service we've received when we needed support. It does what it does very well.

Proforma really allowed us to use Jira Service Management to the fullest. When managing incidents and implementing changes, we are able to take advantage of many features that help transform the Atlassian platform into a true ITSM tool. It's incredible how willing the support and development teams are to listen to our suggestions and requirements, and taking it one step further by acting on those suggestions. Keep up the good work!

ProForma has really transformed how we use JSD. It's allowed us to streamline processes that before would have taken a great amount of back and forth between customers. It's pretty easy to use and works well with automations too! The only thing we are dying to have is attachment support, but I understand that is coming soon.

We love ProForma!! We've been using ProForma forms on our Jira Service Desk since day 1 and they have been incredible. Makes life so easy for our customers, our internal users and me as an admin. The product is fantastic and the support is out of this world, they are always super responsive and willing to help out with any issues. Also very willing to accept new feature recommendations and every release has relevant and useful features. All in all, ProForma is the #1 form app for Jira Cloud backed by fantastic customer service. You will not be disappointed!

ProForma was exactly what we were looking for when revamping our incident handling process and looking for a simplified way to capture information and guide users through a process, while allowing us to store all the captured information in a Jira ticket for workflows and reporting purposes. With its Confluence-like WYSIWYG editor, ProForma is a breeze to use and does exactly what it says on the box. Highly recommended!

Thanks for your review, Rick! We're all happy to hear ProForma has been helpful. You mention reporting so I thought it might be helpful to share that we've recently released Enhanced Export in paid versions of ProForma. You can read more about it here.

In short, with Enhanced Export you can specify the issues and fields you want to export and you can now include Jira fields using JQL filters.

Proforma has been an excellent tool for reducing the number of custom fields required to get basic information from our customers. One thing I do wish it could do is allow for limiting choices on a linked field. For example, we have a custom field that lists all of the company departments and some of our forms use this field. However, it would be awesome if we could limit some forms so that only certain departments are available to be chosen while still letting that field link to a jira custom field.

    Atlassian

Thanks for your review and feedback, Marc. One approach that comes to mind is building another custom field that contains a subset of the master list of departments. That's not ideal but could be a solution. If you'd like to work this through together, please connect with us at support.thinktilt.com. Me or one of our awesome support team members will gladly see if we can find a good solution for you. ~Peter

ProForma has been a crucial piece of our Jira platform since day one. The only reason we wanted it in the first place was as a solution for our legacy business forms that needed to migrate into our new service center, but that had fields too specific to use in more than one place. ProForma probably saved us from creating and managing 100+ fields right off the bat. We have leaned heavily on ProForma, most recently as a solution to bring our Facilities team into Jira alongside IT and Marketing. It honestly is what made it possible to fully migrate from the legacy Facilities system with all the various preventative maintenance checklists and forms that need to be done. I appreciate how easy it is to access form data in automation and Scriptrunner, especially since the newer form builder was released with updated JSON format. The support is also great. We have had very few issues stemming from ProForma, and when we have, ThinkTilt support is very responsive and helpful and has resolved issues quickly.

ProForma has definitely helped us get a handle on our custom fields. It's easy to use and makes great looking forms. But the best thing about ProForma is its support. Everytime I've asked a question, the response has been both swift and helpful. Kudos!

Loving Proforma Forms! We have been using Proforma forms for about a year now and it's proven to be quite the asset for our JSM projects. The built in automation tool is wonderful! We have a complex workflow and the automation in Proforma turned a complex workflow transition that would normally require some coding into a simple click. The connector option saved us from entering several lines of dropdown options in a custom field by simply connecting to a json file. The conditional sections for questions is a really sharp feature, hiding questions that are not applicable and showing options for certain criteria. We are bringing more projects into our instance and this application is a real eye catcher with all of it's cool features. Thank you ThinkTilt!

ProForma has been in our toolbox for a long time now, and it's incredibly useful for capturing issue information without the need for additional custom fields. We use it to capture information, and combine it with other tools (like Automation for Jira) to help triage issues. Their support is also incredibly responsive and knowledgable when resolving issues.

This is one of the Plugins I totally rely on when designing different forms for our most complex requirements. Proforma Team is so responsive and resolves the issues right away and they are always ready to listen to your requirements and tries to help out in one or the other way.Kate Caldecott(COO) of Thinktilt always joins the calls and pulls in the right resources that can help with the issue. Pricing FAQ

How does cloud app pricing work?

Cloud apps are sold as a monthly or annual subscription. You are eligible for support and automatic version updates as long as your subscription is active.

When your subscription renews each month, you are automatically billed for apps based on the number of users in your instance.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my cloud pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. Jira Cloud apps are priced based on the maximum users of the Jira products on your instance. For example, if you have Jira Software (50 users) and Jira Service Management (10 agents) on the same instance, you pay the 50-user price for apps.Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for licensing across maximum users still apply.

The pricing structure for cloud apps is as follows:

    • Monthly subscriptions with up to 10 Atlassian product users are billed at a flat rate price.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 10 users are billed per user, starting at the first user.
    • Monthly subscriptions with more than 100 users are billed per user. The table above provides example pricing at various user levels.

Annual subscriptions may offer a discount depending on the number of users purchased.

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for cloud apps?

Yes. Academic, community, and open source licenses are available to qualifying organizations. See our Purchasing & Licensing FAQ for more information.

Can I extend my free trial?

For cloud apps, you cannot extend your free evaluation period. All cloud apps are immediately subscribed by a user, and we provide a free evaluation period. This is a minimum of 30 days and ends on the second billing cycle after you first subscribe to the app.

    Pricing FAQ

How does server app pricing work?

Server products and apps are hosted on your servers. This app is sold as a perpetual license, and the purchase price includes 12 months of maintenance (support and version updates).

You can renew maintenance after 12 months at 50% of the current purchase price. You can upgrade the tier of your Atlassian product and app licenses at any time. Upgrade prices are calculated based on Atlassian's formula (view example).

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my server pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. For Jira 7.0 or later, the app tier should match the maximum tier of the licensed Jira products on your instance. For example, if you're running Jira Software (500 users) and Jira Service Management (25 agents) on the same instance, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. For versions of Jira prior to 7.0, the app tier should match the licensed user tier for Jira. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Jira license, the two licenses should match exactly. Note: While this app has features specific to Jira Service Management, the app is technically available across the whole Jira instance. Therefore the above guidelines for the license tier still apply.

Community and open-source licenses are available for server apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For server apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.

How can I buy apps for my legacy Jira Server or Confluence Server license?

If you own a legacy Jira Server Unlimited (100+ users) or Confluence Server Unlimited (2000+ users) license purchased in 2012 or earlier, legacy app pricing is no longer available. You have two options for app purchasing:

    • Purchase the app at the non-legacy Unlimited (10000+ users) tier.
    • Renew your Jira or Confluence license at a non-legacy tier, then purchase the app at the same tier.
