Not sure how this app got installed, nor how it was granted Admin privs in our confluence pages without any notification. But the poor review is in direct relation to these.

Not at this price point. It is neat and all, but $5 for Confluence and $3.50 for Analytics...the cost / benefit for this app was not there for us. Canceled the trial due to cost.

I agree with other reviewers that this add-on fills an important gap in Confluence Cloud. We added it mostly for the connection to Google Analytics, but the reporting in Confluence itself is also clean, simple, and useful. Most of all, the customer service has been truly excellent. The team has been extremely proactive in working with Atlassian when there's an issue on the Confluence side. They are also very receptive to feedback and suggestions, including adding support for search analytics.

I had concerns over the add-on leaving security accounts etc behind after being removed. But the founder was in touch with me in a flash and gave friendly, helpful information with the evidence to back what he was saying. While I'm not using the add-on I can attest to the quality of their support and commitment to making this a great add-on. I wish them good luck!

A really simple and effective plugin which we really needed. The guys even built a new feature into it while we were evaluating. Pretty great.

Just down wright amazing. Clean interface with relevant stats. Really helps us see how pages are performing. A nice touch is showing the users who viewed the pages as well. Great job.

In the Evaluation Phase: + Good overview statistics / numbers at global, space, page level + Clean graphs and UX design - Miss opportunity to use the numbers within the columns as breadcrumbs to dig deeper into what made up those numbers. (e.g. Cannot click a specific users "Views" number to show me all the content they viewed within that time period with the version number etc or click the "Views" number for a Page listed under "Content" to show me the list of users which viewed it and the version etc) - Have to review each Space's "Space Analytics" page to view the "Content" TAB to review all the page data, would be great to have this at the Global Analytics level also. (When you have 100's of spaces it would be time consuming to review each of their "Space Analytics" page to see what Content is being viewed / updated) - Content TAB missing "Updated" and potentially "Comments" columns. - PRICE !

UPDATE: Based on your feedback, we've now added a comments column to both Cloud and Server versions.

Thanks again for the review and feedback Ben! We've captured your feature suggestions and we're happy to say that we've started working on adding 'comments' into the content tab in space analytics. We'll keep you up to date with our progress.

Almost contains all we need: + detailed information on who visited what version of a specific page and when + easy deep linking for sub-pages, etc - attachment download statistics only shows view count, where as page statistics contains more detailed information For us to consider analytics (sales channel performance analytics), we need to know who download attachments allowing us to send targeted reminders.

This analytics platform fills a huge gap for our organization. We use Confluence as our social e-learning platform for our sales arm and it's always important to understand what materials are being read and those that need to be updated. Good Software Co. has been very receptive to my feedback and their support is superior. I would recommend this application hands down for organizations that use their confluence platform as a education tool for their staff.

The analytics work per page., as describe there, but a lack of being able to centrally poll the pages for their usage makes it not that useful. Apparently there is something in the pipeline to do that - that may well be the answer to make this a useful tool.. My previous review was low - that was because there is a problem with uninstalling - turns out i is an Atlassian bug - very annoying! https://ecosystem.atlassian.net/browse/UPM-5526

Based on feedback like yours we recently launched analytics at a space level. Now you can easily measure engagement from one place for all content and users within a space and as desired zoom in on a single page to see who has viewed it. Space analytics includes both a high level overview and tables with stats on each page and user.

Thanks again for leaving a review Krys!

The Analytics worked well; all new and existing pages included analytics once the software was installed, and the team quickly replied to any questions. Additionally, the team allowed us to preview an early version of the Space Analytics feature. The Space Analytics allows for a central location to see a report for all pages. With this report, I can restructure my wiki if pages aren't seen, or I can publicize the pages better. Finally, the Space Analytics allows me to remove myself from the data (I skew the data) and export to an Excel sheet allowing tremendous flexibility and power for understanding how I'm presenting content to my users.

    Pricing FAQ

How does Data Center app pricing work?

Data Center apps are sold as an annual subscription. You are eligible for support and version updates as long as your subscription is active.

If app pricing changes after your initial purchase, there's a 60-day grandfathering period during which you can renew based on the old pricing.

How do I determine my Data Center pricing?

Apps are billed based on the number of users in your Atlassian product. The app tier should match the licensed user tier of the Atlassian product. For example, if you have a Confluence license for 500 users, you should purchase the 500-user tier for apps. Even if fewer users want to use the app than your Atlassian product license, the two licenses should match exactly.

Can I install this app in a Data Center product?

Yes, this app has a Data Center approved version. If you're using a Data Center product, you should install the Data Center version of the app.

What type of license do I need if I'm using this app in a Data Center product?

Do you offer academic, community, or open-source licenses for Data Center apps?

For Data Center apps, academic licenses are available at a 50% discount if you have an academic license for your Atlassian product.

Community and open-source licenses are not available for Data Center apps. Learn more about community and open source licenses.

Can I extend my free trial?

For Data Center apps, you can extend your app trial up to 5 times - in other words, for up to six months. Extend your trial by generating a new evaluation license key from Atlassian Marketplace. Click Try it free and you'll be directed to generate a new license. Paste this license key into the app listing in UPM from your Atlassian product, and you're all set.
