You have to go through every page manually, and then it doesn't find all the matches still, you click find to open a page, then same button again to highlight a match on the page, then click replace/find to replace it and open the next page, but lots of manual work. If it didn't miss any, it would almost still be worth it, but when I have to open them all afterwards, it seems like I am just doing it twice. If it automated it, and I didn't need to click, then that would be worth it too. I didn't have any bad stuff happen, no pages damaged like some reviews indicated, it just wasn't efficient enough to my liking.

Just got the app today, and was very happy with it and thought the app was doing a great job at replacing a specific term in a space until a colleague brought to my attention that some articles were coming up blank. After reviewing our articles extensively, the majority of them seem to be intact, but the app almost completely deletes any article with a Table of Contents macro in it, which has caused me more work by having to review every article that may have had a Table of Contents macro and restore them to a previous version. The app is useful, but the aftermath of using it has proven to be an absolutely terrifying experience, and I have very little faith in this product now. I'm concerned about what other bugs exist in this software. Update: I'm noticing that it's wiping the contents of code snippets too. This product is almost more trouble than it's worth. I highly caution anyone against using this. Update #2: I'm now noticing that you have to input the search term EXACTLY as it appears in your articles (exact same capitalization) for the app to detect it, and even then, it will still skip over some that are the exact same. For example, if you tell it to find the word "billing", it will find some of them, but it also won't find some with the exact same capitalization, it won't find the instances when it was capitalized (Billing), and it won't find instances when it was pluralized (Billings) or used with an apostrophe (Billing's). Confluence's built in search functionality will find all those instances however, so you're better off just using that if you're actually looking for accurate results. Qron Search and Replace is in no way a finished product given that there are this many oversights affecting the app's reliability.
